It is a matching problem. Agencies publish requirements constantly; capable suppliers miss them because discovery tools were built around keywords rather than capability.
GovDemand treats procurement as a data problem with two sides. On one side, government demand — federal, state, local and education requirements, arriving in inconsistent formats with inconsistent codes. On the other, private-sector supply — companies whose real ability to deliver depends on certifications, manufacturer relationships, contract capacity, inventory and geography.
We structure both sides and score them against each other. Suppliers build one profile, the Supplier Passport, and receive ranked matches with the reasoning exposed. Agencies gain a supplier base described in consistent, comparable terms.
The platform is industry-agnostic by design. Public safety equipment is where we began testing, but the data model carries no assumptions about what is being bought.
